China's Richest Man to build 3 Beachfront Towers on the Gold Coast worth $900 Million

“The Jewel” development to be built at Old Burleigh Road Surfers Paradise has approval for up to three High-Rise Towers that include;

Resort Hotel

Apartments

Offices

Recording Studio

Restaurants and Cafes

With the total building area consuming up to 147,000 square meters

The number of Chinese visitors to Queensland grew faster than the national average in 2013, rising by 16% to more than 300,000 with Chinese visitor spending in Queensland in particular growing up by about 28% last year.

Wang Jianlin the chairman of the Hong Kong-listed Wanda Group took over the top spot on the Forbes China Rich List for the first time last year after a rebound in property prices.

Wanda’s decision to invest in Queensland’s Gold Coast follows commitments from investors such as ASF Group, which is leading a consortium backed by Chinese investors to build a Cruise Ship Terminal and resort.

Chinese property developer Greenland Holdings Group also teamed up with James Packer’s Crown Resorts last month in a bid to build a new casino and entertainment complex in Brisbane.

So Queensland and the Gold Coast in particular is definitely the place to invest as it is obvious the growth potential is a reality now, so if investors don’t make a move over the next couple of years they will simply miss the boat.
