Magic Gold Coast Underwater Dome is deep sea divers dream come true
The new dome-shaped Ocean-Dive-Site proposed for the Gold Coast is absolutely magic.
It will be located 2.5km off Surfers Paradise Beach in the clear clean waters of the Coral Sea, and experienced deep sea divers have described it one of the most magical dive sites in the world.
The design is a large dome with honeycomb openings, pipes, and hiding places for marine life.
The site will be situated just behind the existing wreck of the Tall Ship “The Scottish Prince” at a depth of around 32 metres.
The Dome will be 24 metres high which is about the height of an 8 story building which will allow divers to explore an array of different areas in its precinct.
The dive site is expected to cost approximately $2.5 Million and will be another fabulous attraction that the Gold Coast will offer holiday makers and local residence alike.
