New floating Sea Pearl Hotel for the Gold Coast lights up the sky
The Sea Pearl Hotel concept was designed by Professor Jianping Zheng, who is the creator ultra-modern development projects in China over the past 30 years.
Prof Zheng, who has designed and built more than 200 theme park and tourism projects in China, visited Queensland as part of the Global Cafe, a lead-up event to the G20.
His design incorporates;
300-room floating Sea Pearl Hotel
Shops
Restaurants
Entertaining facilities
Swimming pools
Casino
Underwater Tunnel
All this would be lit up at night with coloured light beams which would brighten the Gold Coast skyline.
Prof Zheng said that the southern side of the proposed cruise ship terminal could be the perfect site for his next project. It would be lit up at night with coloured beams sweeping the Gold Coast sky.
