Positive signs for Gold Coast Airport

International carriers such as Singapore and Emirates Airlines are being encouraged to set up direct flights from the Gold Coast to Los Angeles, Singapore and beyond.
The Gold Coast Airport runway extension is due for completion in 2008 paving the way for bigger aircraft such as the popular
Boeing B-777 which carries up to 380 passengers
